Bulgarian construction firm Iris will put about 30 million euro into the first stage of construction of Business Park Rousse, managerial agent Rostislav Dimitrov said.

The main goal is to build an upscale office park that meets international work, communications and service standards, Iris CEO Miglena Dimitrova said.

One of the sections in the three-part building in the north-eastern city of Rousse will welcome tenants in the first quarter of 2011.

The park will cover a 2.3 hectare plot. The first stage will deliver 32 000 sq m of floor area and will employ 1800 people upon completion.

Iris stared as a textile company, but later switched fields of activity to real estate and logistics, supervisory board chair Bogomil Dimitrov said.
